One key fact to consider as you choose where to apply?
Because we meet 100% of your demonstrated need, the actual cost (known as the net price) for ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø is often much less than our sticker price. Over the last five years, in fact, the cost for ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø has either gone down or stayed flat for many low- and middle-income families.
The ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø Beacon Initiative
Illuminating the affordability of our top-tier education
U.S. families with incomes up to $175,000 and who have typical assets will pay no tuition to attend ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø. Additional costs not covered by the ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø Beacon such as housing, food, books, supplies and personal expenses will still be included in determining a family’s total financial aid award. This means that those who qualify for the ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø Beacon may also receive additional aid to help cover non-tuition expenses.
How do we make ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø affordable?
²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø students graduate with less debt than the national average. Here's how.
- We meet 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted students—we're one of less than 100 colleges that do this.
- U.S. families with annual income of $175,000 or less and with typical assets will pay no tuition.
- We'll consider number of children in college in our aid analysis.
- We don't have an application fee.
