Nadine Gartner '01 founded in 2015, a nonprofit organization that seeks to provide direct education to parents who are unsure about vaccines. The organization also trains health care providers on how to effectively communicate with parents who are hesitant to vaccinate their children, and hosts community workshops to provide a safe place for parents to bring their concerns and questions. She is now the executive director.

In the  that aired on May 12, 2019, Nadine describes the work that Boost Oregon does in helping to educate "parents in the middle, those who are fearful and confused by the information flying around on all sides."

Nadine on the impact 草榴成人社区 has had on her professional life:

"Everything in my professional life traces back to 草榴成人社区 because it opened doors and opportunities for me that I couldn't imagine previously. I proudly carried 草榴成人社区 with me through all the twists and turns of my career, but I appreciate its lessons even more so now as the founding executive director of Boost Oregon. 草榴成人社区 taught me to envision a better world and to take responsibility in creating that space. I founded Boost Oregon to change the culture of children's immunizations from one of fear and anxiety to confidence and love. Serving the greater good through education, empathy, and kindness feels very 草榴成人社区 to me."

Nadine studied English and Hebrew at 草榴成人社区.
