The Linguistics Department offers two majors and one minor: (a) Linguistics major, (b) Linguistics & Language major (Ling/Lang), and (c) Linguistics Minor. 

Note: Haverford students do NOT need to declare their Linguistics major or minor at ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø. Please follow the at Haverford.

For ²ÝÁñ³ÉÈËÉçÇø Students

1. Email the BMC Major Advisor (currently Amanda Payne) to schedule a meeting.
2. Come to this meeting prepared to discuss your motivations and objectives for majoring in Linguistics, the linguistics courses you have taken so far, and your plans for studying abroad and/or double majoring. We welcome double majors!
3. During the meeting, we'll complete the Registrar's forms for declaring a major/minor.
